Dear Friends & Colleagues,

August 10, 11 & 12, 2018, dates for the Eighth National Conference of Academy of Regional Anaesthesia of India, will emerge as yet another milestone in the journey of AORA INDIA. As always, I look forward to hearty participation from regional anaesthesia enthusiasts. Lexicographer Erin McKean said,” For me, conferences are like little mental vacations : a chance to go visit an interesting place for a couple of days, and come back rested and refreshed with new ideas and perspectives”.  Truly spoken. In today’s hectic pace of life, we all look forward to such breaks to rejuvenate in the company of friends and like minded colleagues while learning from accomplished faculty. The organizing committee headed by the energetic Dr. Sajeesh Gopalan is working overtime to deliver a scientific meeting that can be cherished. You are requested to kindly visit www.aoraindia2018.com for information and consider registration. Your presence at this conference is important to us. Please do come to Trivandrum and present us with the opportunity to host you in the capital city of God’s own country.

Dear Friends,

A revered Namaste!

On behalf of the Academy of Regional Anaesthesia of India, it is my pleasure to invite all accomplished anaesthesiologists, budding students, academicians and young researchers, from all over country, and the world, to attend the Eighth National Conference of Academy of Regional Anaesthesia. This focused and dedicated conference shall be held on August 10, 11 & 12, 2018, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Over the years, we were fortunate to have steadfast commitment from our delegates, a feature we treasure immensely.

Since this conference covers very detailed aspects on regional anaesthesia from fundamental issues to practical applications, anyone interested in future and current progress should not miss this event. AORA conferences are known to share insights into the recent research and cutting-edge technologies, which generates interest with the exuberant presence of adept and brilliant faculty.

Workshops remain the most sought-after aspect of this event, where delegates drop all guards and ask every question they wanted to ask and get answers in return.

We’re looking forward to an excellent meeting with great faculty from different countries around the world.

But our strength lies in the delegates who are so committed to the cause of progress with the belief that patient care improves!

Message from The Academic Director

Dr. Sandeep M. Diwan
Academic Director - AORA India

Dear Colleagues,

It gives me great pleasure extending an invitation to you all for the academic extravaganza at AORA 2018 in Trivandrum. AORA grows stronger by the year thanks to stellar contributions by regional anesthesia enthusiasts. It has been the mission of AORA to equip anaesthesiologists in India with all the latest advances in this expanding field.

In an attempt to reach the remotest of areas, AORA faculties are conducting workshops, CME’s and conferences throughout the length and breadth of the country, thereby generating interest among a wider cross section of anaesthesiologists, especially those working with limited resources. A highlight without doubt over the last two years were the cadaveric workshops.

This year the academic sessions are planned to meet the needs of both the novice and the expert. A balance between the basics and advances will keep the delegates engrossed for two days.

Renowned international faculties, Jeff Gadsden, Phillipe Gautier and Nicholas Scott are going to make their mark in AORA 2018. It would be great to hear their original contributions. The national faculties include a blend from the major centres and remote locations in India.

As the D day approaches, I urge all to register for AORA 2018 conference and experience the endearing hospitality of the local organizing committee.
